terug op Curacao

Wij zijn net terug van 3 en een halve week uit Nederland voor onze jaarlijkse medische APK.
Wij zijn allebei weer voor 1 jaar goed gekeurd, hiep hiep hoera !!!
Nu moeten we op Curaçao blijven tot na het hurricane seizoen, die duurt tot eind oktober, begin november.
Op 3 september gaan we naar de familie van Marjorie in de staat New York.
Helaas kan ik daar geen auto huren omdat ik een code op mijn rijbewijs heb staan ​​dat ik alleen in een aangepast automaat auto mag rijden. En die hebben autoverhuurbedrijven niet !!
Het enigste vervoermiddel wat ik wel mag huren en oprijden is zo een ding op twee wielen en of met drie wielen motor en of scooter met of zonder zijspan. Maar daar wil Marjorie niet mee achterop.
Tet wijl we wel in Nederland ruim 3 weken met de BMW rond gereden hebben, daar ik de code voor het weer op de plaatsen plaatsen van de Caddy niet had, die was niet bij de gene die onze post verzorgde, en ik heb daar ook mee aan dacht dat dat stomme ding daar was.
In ieder geval ik heb lekker kunnen rijden op de motor.

Nu een beetje van Marjorie

Wij zijn aan het werk aan de boot. Schilderen en de motor een beurt geven. Wij kunnen het op onze gemak doen en dan de leuke vooruitzichten om naar mijn 2 broers te gaan in de VS. 4 dagen bij Carlton en 4 dagen bij David. Het is alleen jammer dat Wim kun geen auto huren.
Nederland was heel leuk. Lekker in ons huis had alle comfort !!! Leuk om vrienden te zien zien.
Het is hier regenachtig weer en het schijt 2 weken te blijven regenen. Maar het is er niet koud bij !!!
zoals in Nederland, daar zaten hebben we winterkleren aan en de verwarming aan !!
het moment is het 30 graden in de boot, er staat gelukkig wat wind het buiten is nog te houden.

We are working on the boat. Paint ing and give the engine some atension. We can do it at ease and then the nice prospects to go to my 2 brothers in the US. 4 days at Carlton and 4 days at David. It is only a shame that Wim can not rent a car.
The Netherlands was very nice. Great to be in our house and had all the comfort !!! Nice to see friends.
